ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

When running P6 Professional within the Secure Global Desktop (SGD) environment (also called Primavera Virtual Desktop (PVD)), loading content of a pass-through drive or attempting navigation within the pass-through drive is slow or exhibits significant delays. The delay mainly occurs when enumerating a large number of objects at once from a pass-through drive - for example, when loading a directory which contains hundreds of directories and/or files.


EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

When loading content of a pass-through drive or attempting navigation of the pass-through drive within PVD, the loading should perform more quickly, especially when enumerating a large number of objects at once from a pass-through drive.


The issue can be reproduced using the following steps
1. Login to P6 Professional from within PVD.
2. Select File > Page Setup.
3. Click the Headers or Footers tab.
4. Click Modify.
5. Click the Picture icon.
6. Select the Browse button in the Picture source window.
7. In a File Explorer window select one of the pass-through network drives.
8. Note the reported behavior which occurs when loading content in the the pass-through drive.

This can also be duplicated when performing any action within P6 Professional that can load a Windows Explorer window for selecting a pass-through drive.
