This article describes how to restrict Universal Content Management (UCM) account access for Oracle HCM Cloud (Release 12).
For doing file transfers to and from HCM Cloud, it is sometimes desirable to have a limited user account that is used only for that file transfer. This user account would not have any other roles associated with it.
To do this we create a custom role associated with the file transfer privileges and assign that to a new user account to be used for the upload and download.
To create a limited user that can execute UCM upload and download to the hcm/dataloader/export and hcm/dataloader/import UCM accounts, follow the details below.
