Goal

Open Enrollment - Rate Start date earlier than life event date

Client pays weekly employees in arrears, for the first pay check 1/5/2018 they are paid for the week of 12/25/2017 to 12/31/2017.

And client wants to reflect 2018 rates in their first pay check, so client has a FF for Rate Start Date and Previous Rate End date to use 12/25/2017 and 12/24/2017 respectively. This is working fine.

But when they run participation process the exception report is filled with warning msgs for each employee per benefit plan. This is a warning msg so client thinks they can ignore but wanted to confirm if there will be any issues if the rate dates are before LE occ date?? also is there anyway to suppress this msg as they are unable to export the exception report completely.?

Example of the msg

BEN_93964_ENRO_DT_LT_LE_OCD_DT The resulting date Rate End Date 2017-12-24 for the compensation object Program: US Full-Time Core Benefit Program - Plan: 5K Coverage - Option: is earlier than the life event occurred date 2018-01-01.
BEN_93964_ENRO_DT_LT_LE_OCD_DT The resulting date Rate Start Date 2017-12-25 for the compensation object Program: US Full-Time Core Benefit Program - Plan: 10K Coverage - Option: is earlier than the life event occurred date 2018-01-01.
