Outlook: How To Configure Search in Custom DCL Field (Doc ID 2323203.1)

On : version, Microsoft Outlook

Custom DCL field in Outlook does not allow search as in Simplified UI.

Custom DCL field should permit the same search functionality as in Simplified UI.

1. Open Outlook and connect to the environment
2. Go to the Object Form and then to the DCL
3. Click on the associated "Search / Lookup" button.

A list with showing some lookup values will open, instead of allowing you to search for the specific lookup value that you want.

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, the same functionality from SUI could not be obtained in Outlook
