What happens behind the 'Create Quote' button?

On : 11.12.1.0.0 version, CX Integration

Is the OSC simply creating the iframe with no CPQ-information whatsoever?

Customer wants to know what happens behind the 'Create Quote' button?

Is the OSC iframe created as a result of a previously established communication between OSC and CPQ? In other words, is OSC aware of the ability to communicate with CPQ? Or is the OSC simply creating the iframe with no CPQ-information whatsoever?

This is important so that customer can advise the users accordingly, that in case of miscommunication failure, some kind of alert will popup within the iframe.
