Symptoms

On : Release 12 version, UK - United Kingdom Legislation

When attempting to load scheme leavers PAE (Pensions Automatic Enrolment) calculation components as a scheme leaver the following error occurs.
Same error is returned when loading the data manually

The UK PAE (Pensions Automatic Enrolment) white paper (<Note 2006584.1>) states that 'If an employee has opted-out or left the scheme in the past, you don’t need to capture the active enrolment and the information on the Benefits and Pensions card.'

1. When 'Qualifying Scheme Leaving Date' and 'Reason for Leaving Qualifying Scheme' are entered an error is shown on submit stating that 'You can enter attribute LEFTSCHEME only if the colleague is participating in a Qualifying scheme'
2. The employee is NOT in a qualifying scheme as they have previously left
3. Entering active qualifying scheme name is not an option as this forces entry of benefits and pension card for scheme.


ERROR
"You can enter attribute LEFTSCHEME only if the colleague is participating in a Qualifying scheme. (HRX-1560863)"


STEPS
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. When 'Qualifying Scheme Leaving Date' and 'Reason for Leaving Qualifying Scheme' are entered an error is shown on submit stating that 'You can enter attribute LEFTSCHEME only if the colleague is participating in a Qualifying scheme'
2. The employee is NOT in a qualifying scheme as they have previously left
3. Entering active qualifying scheme name is not an option as this forces entry of benefits and pension card for scheme.
