Symptoms

Hybrid Mobile Communications Platform (MCP) User Name switches when Mobile Worker enters the wrong password

Devices are shared among crews. They typically use any available device. This means that a different Crew had completed their shift on the device the day before. The prior user name for the prior Crew is what is defaulted on the login screen when the mobile app is first launched.

After deleting the prior Crew's user name, the new user name is entered. If the new crew mistypes their password, clicks Logon, they fail the authentication as expected. The problem is that the user name then switches back to the old crew, instead of leaving it with the new Crew's user name so they can type their password in and try again.

This is burdensome to the user's since retyping the user name over and over while they attempt to login wastes time and creates a frustrating user experience. The logon screen should retain the user name from the failed logon attempt so the crew only needs to type in the correct password in order to proceed.
