Adding Account To Lead Doesn't Constrain Primary Contact Search Results

On the Lead object, Primary Contact field search suggestions are not filtered by the Account, if the Account field is populated.

For example, when creating a Lead and setting the Account to 'Consulting', then the expectation is for Consulting's contacts to appear in this drop-down list of Contacts on the search field.

This functionality is already in place on the Opportunity and Activity objects, it does work on the Opportunity object., but this doesn't work on the Lead object.

How to get the same functionality from Opportunities to be exhibited on the Lead object?
