Goal

The source Business Process (BP) is designed to auto-create a destination record based on a spawn, or S-Step, built into the Workflow.

The destination record is designed to go from the Create step to the End step, and there are Required Data Element fields on the Create step.

The expectation is that the auto-created destination record should NOT pass the Create step and move to the End step without the Required Data Element fields being populated.

The actual result is that the auto-created destination record IS passing the Create step and moving to the End step without the Required Data Element fields being populated.
