When Account Is Created Using The New CX Mobile Application - The Status Remains NULL

Information in this document applies to any platform.
When a new account is created in the simplified UI - the Status is default and it is "Active"
However, when the Account is created in the Mobile CX application (new version) - the status remains blank and is causing issues for the customer.
How can we define this field to have a default value when created in mobile?
