Fusion Application - BI Publisher - Unable to Use Https Secured SOAP Service (Developed in ICS) in BIP as Data Source

Goal

Trying to use Https secured SOAP service(developed in ICS) in BIP as data source.

Followed https://docs.oracle.com/middleware/12212/bip/BIPAD/GUID-5469B14D-48C3-4DF7-A900-4BB0B233BA5F.htm#BIPAD4831 for the setup.

Able to invoke unsecured and http protocol based soap services without any issue.

But getting following error when we try to use the datasource in report:
oracle.xdo.servlet.data.DataException: oracle.xdo.XDOException: oracle.xdo.XDOException: oracle.xdo.dataengine.datasource.plugin.DataAccessException: oracle.xdo.XDOException: WSException:javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: Message send failed: Missing WWW-Authenticate header.
