Expense Type Not Available On Expense Item After Changing Expense Category

Expense Type does not appear in LOV during expense item creation after Expense Type is assigned to a different Expense Category.
Need to change Category assigned to an Expense Type from Miscellaneous to Mileage. After user changes category assignment, Expense Type disappears from LOV and is not available during expense item creation.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1.Check for Expense Type in Expense Template that is assigned to Category: Miscellaneous
2.Above Expense Type is visible in LOV when Employee creates expense item
3.Change Expense Type assignment to Category: Mileage
5.Expense Type is NO LONGER available in LOV during expense item creation after Expense Type is assigned to a different Expense Category
Expect Expense Type to still be available in LOV during expense item creation.
