Desktop Lite Collision (Doc ID 2335399.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 22, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle CRM On Demand - Version 031CS to 031CS [Release 31]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

When the record collision shows a recycle bin for one side of the synchronization, you cannot select fields to resolve the collision at the field level resolution. The collision indicates the record has been deleted in CRM OnDemand and a change has been made to the record in CRM Desktop. That is what the recycle bin represents in this case. Since the whole record is missing in CRMOD, you cannot simply select fields to update. You have to go back one screen and use the option "Use client data" for selected record. This will send the record as it exists in CRM Desktop down to CRM OnDemand as a new record.
