Create Accounting Process Fail. Account Combination Cannot Be Used (Doc ID 2335966.1)

Symptoms

On : 11.12.1.0.0 version, Create and Manage Journals

Create Accounting process fail. Account Combination Cannot Be Used

We are trying to create accounting for several receivable transactions but create accounting process is showing error for some account combinations.

The following error message is provided for Create Accounting Report:


ERROR
-----------------------


The GL code combination ID XXXX does not exist.
Cause: The code combination ID {CODE_COMBINATION_ID} does not exist
or is not assigned to the chart of accounts of the ledger.
Action: Review the accounting definitions and the extract source values for the
event and make sure the GL account provided in the source is valid for the
ledger.



STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Run Create Accounting
2. Check the log

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot complete period close.
