Remote Region Errors When Submitting Import AutoInvoice : java.lang.NullPointerException: uploadedFile is null (Doc ID 2336075.1)

When attempting to Submit the Auto Invoice job,
the following error occurs.

Process Details
Unable to retrieve content. Please see ' Remote Region error #6' in the server logs for more information.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login to the Fusion Application
2. Go to Tools > Scheduled processes
3. Try to submit a job for job to Import Invoice
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, few of the users cannot proceed further with the job submission
