How to improve Balance Initialization load?
a. Performing a full volume data load of HCM Balance Initialization,
b. Using roughly 5,500,000 balance records to initialize as part of that migration.
c. Have split the balance initialization into roughly 100K files and are loading the files in the following sequence:
1) Upload File to UCM
2) Submit Payroll Flow – Load Batch from File
3) Validate Records
4) Transfer Records
d. End to end process currently taking 4.5 hours per file.
e. Manage Payroll Process Configuration has “Threads Determines the total number of subprocesses that run under the concurrent manager. Default: 1; minimum: 1.” Value set to 40.
