Goal
To Create some additional activity codes for resources in manufacturing like downtime, cleaning etc. which will be assigned for these types of activities should not be costed ideally as they should not be captured in manufacturing cost of the product.
How to charge resource hours for non-costed activities like breakdown, setup etc?
How the setup will be as activity transactions' costs are not captured as part of work order costing.?
Scenario:
Suppose charged down times to Mixer Machine resource 1.84 & 1.87(These are basically to capture machine down times, question is whether these times will be taken into consideration while doing resource costing.?
E.g. if the resource rate is $10/hr and machine needs to run 5 hrs to manufacture the product, and in between had a downtimes(let's say 1.84+1.87 hrs), Will costing happen as 10*5 or 10*(5+1.84+1.87) ?
