In Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service (FCCS), Manually Created Members Are Relocated Each Month When Patches Are Applied (Doc ID 2337216.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 28, 2017

Applies to:

Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service - Version N/A and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

In your FCCS hierarchy, you have manually added a member.  For example, the member New_Member was added as a sibling member between the seeded members "Exchange Rates System Members" and "FCCS_Balance Sheet".  So when you expand the Account member, you see:

Account
    FCCS_System Account
    Exchange Rates
    Entered Exchange Rates
    Exchange Rates System Members
    New_Member
    FCCS_Balance Sheet
    FCCS_Income Statement
    FCCS_Historical Acounts

After the monthly patch is implemented, the hierarchy order has changed:

Account
    FCCS_System Account
    Exchange Rates
    Entered Exchange Rates
    Exchange Rates System Members
    FCCS_Balance Sheet
    FCCS_Income Statement
    New_Member
    FCCS_Historical Acounts
