Applies to:

Oracle Fusion Incentive Compensation - Version 11.12.1.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

User has a custom function that pass in the name of the plan component and performance measure.
When used for a plan component name that is long (eg. 'SIC EC PC ORDER.CONV 2017 - Ind Comp' ),  the generated measure formula is adding extra space in the name.
This cause the custom function to not lookup the correct corresponding plan_component_id so the calculation result is zero.

STEPS
1. Create custom function XX_GET_PM_YTD_OUTPUT
2. Create expression "SIC EC PC ORDER.CONV GM Weighted Rate" with the following :
    XX_GET_PM_YTD_OUTPUT ( Measure result.PC ORDER.CONV 2017 Convertible GM Bonus.Participant Plan ID ,
    'SIC EC PC ORDER.CONV 2017 - Ind Comp' , 'PC 2017 Total Orders' ,
    Measure result.PC ORDER.CONV 2017 Convertible GM Bonus.Period ID )
    + XX_GET_PM_YTD_OUTPUT (Measure result.PC ORDER.CONV 2017 Convertible GM Bonus.Participant Plan ID ,
    'SIC EC PC ORDER.CONV 2017 - Ind Comp' , 'PC 2017 Down Payments' ,
    Measure result.PC ORDER.CONV 2017 Convertible GM Bonus.Period ID )
    + XX_GET_PM_YTD_OUTPUT ( Measure result.PC ORDER.CONV 2017 Convertible GM Bonus.Participant Plan ID ,
    'SIC EC PC ORDER.CONV 2017 - Ind Comp' , 'PC 2017 Convertibility GM' ,
    Measure result.PC ORDER.CONV 2017 Convertible GM Bonus.Period ID )
3. Use the expression as input for performance measure "PC ORDER.CONV 2017 Convertible GM Bonus"
4. Assign the performance measure to plan component and comp plan
5. Create transaction
6. Run ALL Transaction Processes
7. Review results return $0 commission
