When Using the Data Element 'Business Process Record URL' the URL Does Not Open the BP Record as Expected (Doc ID 2340052.1)

Symptoms

On Business Process (BP) records, the system is capturing the BP record URL in data element, "Business Process Record URL" (uuu_bp_record_url).
When the URL is copied into an Internet browser, it will open Unifier but not the specific record.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
When the value of the Data Element, "Business Process Record URL" is loaded into a browser, the expectation is that it would open the specific Business Process Record.

STEPS
-----------------------

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log into the affected environment, navigate to the applicable BP record and open it
  2. Expand the Upper Form and scroll until you see the value of the, Business Process Record URL
  3. Copy and paste the URL into an Internet browser and observe the behavior


BUSINESS IMPACT

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot use the Business Process Record URL to access the BP record directly.
