Activities Page Does Not Load in P6 Web When Projects With Large Numbers of Activities (5000+) Are Open (Doc ID 2340552.1)

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

When opening more than 3 projects in P6 Web (OR a Project with more than 5000 Activities), when selecting on the Activities button, the application attempts to load, but then hangs and is not able to display the Activities for all opened Projects.

When clicking on the page, a message may appear at bottom of screen stating: "oracleindustry.com is not responding due to a long running script." [Stop Script]

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

The Activities page loads as expected.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

  1. Log-in to P6 Web.
  2. Go to Projects tab.
  3. Highlight multiple Projects.
  4. Right-click select Open.
  5. Select Activities button.
  6. Page hangs and cannot load Activities.
  7. Message displays, "oracleindustry.com is attempting to run a long running script" -- Stop Script
