Symptoms

Revenue is recognized before revenue contingency expiration date using Daily Rate All Period Rule

 

Example:

Defined Revenue Policies for customer with Credit Classification of 'Moderate Risk.'

In September, 2017 created transaction for customer with Credit Classification of  Moderate Risk, revenue contingency applied and the invoice line distribution went to Unearned Revenue.

On October 3, 2017 payment was applied against the transaction while SEPT-2017 A/R accounting period is still open. Revenue was recognized from 9/1/2017 for rule 'Daily Rate All Period.'

Expectation is the revenue should be recognized in Oct-2017 as the contingency expiration on Oct 3, 2017.
