ETL Process Stuck in Running State

The ETL process appears to be stuck in a running state. The log file does not indicate any progression of steps.
Steps To Reproduce
When accessing the ETL web-based utility and choosing either Status or StarETLn/Status (where n represents the datasource), the status indicates the job is in a running state, and the start date may be 1+ days old.
On left-hand menu, choose Status -or- choose Staretl1 / Status.
