Fusion-Taleo: Inconsistent SSO Logout Behavior

Information in this document applies to any platform.
In a Fusion-Taleo OOTB (out-of-the-box) environment that is configured for SSO, logging out has inconsistent behavior. Sometimes the user is:
- signed out of Taleo completely.
- returned to Taleo without any logout.
Fiddler traces for both of above show that the logout requests from TaleoTEE (OTAC) were the same.
