Goal

Unable to get Employment Category value

Trying to get Employment category value, but found there is no direct database for Oracle Payroll formula type, so have to create Payroll Access to HR type, and created the formula, and compiled successfully, however in Oracle Payroll formula the value is incorrect, it returns all existing values despite I have passed HR_ASSIGNMENT_ID

/* ====================*/
DEFAULT_DATA_VALUE for PER_EXT_ASG_EMPLOYMENT_CATEGORY IS ' '

INPUTS ARE hr_assg_id (number),
 eff_date(date)

l_person_id = 1
CATEGORY = 'N'
I = 1
N = ' '
I = 1
 CHANGE_CONTEXTS (HR_ASSIGNMENT_ID = hr_id, EFFECTIVE_DATE = l_eff_date)
  WHILE (PER_EXT_ASG_EMPLOYMENT_CATEGORY .EXISTS(I)) LOOP
  (
  N = N || PER_EXT_ASG_EMPLOYMENT_CATEGORY [I]
I = I + 1
  )

  X_OUTPUT_TEXT = N
RETURN X_OUTPUT_TEXT
