Multi-select Not Clearing Current Selections With Alta Enabled

Symptoms

When using the Alta Commerce UI Layout, users are unable to deselect all values from a multi-select menu attribute. Users can deselect values; however, they cannot deselect all of the values.

This behavior can be seen when performing the following steps:

  1. Enable the Alta Layout (if not already enabled).
  2. Add a multi select menu to the Layout and save the layout.
  3. Deploy commerce.
  4. Create a new Transaction.
  5. Select a few values for the multi select menu and save the quote.
  6. Deselect the values you selected in step 5 and save the quote.
  7. Observe the values remain selected.

Changes

The site was upgraded to version 2017 R2 or later, and the Alta UI for Commerce has been enabled.
