Navigation and data entry/selection issues in Opportunity UI (Doc ID 2355354.1)

Facing issues in the system Performance, as it is taking long time during navigation and data entry/selection.

go to Navigator > Opportunities - saw again a second or two slowness >

Saved Search = All Opportunities > this took couple of seconds to fetch results
Now there are many records, so user keeps on scrolling, there is Fetching Results tip coming up and this takes sometime for every click on scroll bar
and user reports that they have no idea how long they have to wait and the records keep coming, and Fetching Results tip keeps on appearing.
Now there is small database but users might increase and opportunity records count might increase,
the sales managers have tough time accessing through the Opportunity Summary page
