Symptoms

On : 11.12.1.0.0 version, Global Payroll

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
Person or person by element costing has to be split to different cost centers for a specific date but it is not happening as per the standard costing.
An example of the same where for one day ’01-Nov-2017’, the costing has to go to different cost centers.
After running the payroll, the costing value is not prorating based on the dates. It is considering only the month end value.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Person or person by element costing has to be split to different cost centers for a specific date

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. person by element costing has to be split to different cost centers for a specific date;
2. for one day ’01-Nov-2017’, the Basic Salary costing has to go to different cost centers;
3. running Payroll, the costing value is not getting prorated based on the dates > It is considering only the month end value.

BUSINESS IMPACT

Due to this issue, the costing is inaccurate.
