Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

There is an inconsistency between configure and reconfigure in the way multiple config nodes behave, when it comes to attribute value retention.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create a config flow with multiple nodes.
  2. Create a quote and add product from this config flow.
  3. In the start node, make some changes and go to the next node.
  4. Make changes on second node and click "Back" or "Previous" button to go back to the start node.
  5. Make no change and click "Next" to go to the second node.
  6. The changes made in step 4 are not saved.
  7. Save the configuration and add to quote.
  8. Click "Reconfigure" to enter configuration again.
  9. Make changes in the start node and click next to go to the next node
  10. Make changes in the second node and click "Back" or "Previous" button to go back to the start node.
  11. Make no change and click "Next" to go to the second node.
  12. The change in step 10 is preserved.

Changes

No change was made on the site. The inconsistency has always existed.
