Last updated on JANUARY 16, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Fusion Planning Central Cloud Service - Version 11.12.1.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Q1: Is dynamic scheduling of 'Load Planning Data from Flat files' available in Release 12

Q2: If three files with the same name exist on the directory(All unprocessed), how will dynamic scheduling work

File Name                  ID   Date/Time Created              Processed
SupplyOnhand.zip UCM001 2/4/2018, 3:15 AM PST        No
SupplyOnhand.zip UCM002 2/4/2018, 11:30 AM PST      No
SupplyOnhand.zip UCM003 2/4/2018, 07:00 PM PST       No

Q3: How will the above scenario work if the latest file was processed
manually but there are two files from earlier date which are unprocessed.

File Name            ID          Date/Time Created             Processed
SupplyOnhand.zip UCM001 2/4/2018, 3:15 AM PST       Yes
SupplyOnhand.zip UCM002 2/4/2018, 11:30 AM PST      No
SupplyOnhand.zip UCM003 2/4/2018, 07:00 PM PST      No

Q4: Whether directory itself would allow files with the same name to be
placed again. SupplyOnhand.zip already exist and we are trying to load a file
with this same name again.

Q5: Currently there are no files on the directory and we expect to have a
file in the directory tomorrow morning. Currently the schedule program
expects the file to be present on the directory. Will this issue get resolved
in the new schedule program in Release 13.

Q6: Is there a purge program to delete the processed or unprocessed files
from the directory?. Can this program be scheduled as well if available?
