Symptoms

On Unifier : Version 17.12


ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
----------------------
The following error was through through the Unifier UI when trying publish reports to the BIP server:

"The system could not process your request. Logging in again may help in some cases.
Contact your System Administrator if you are still having problems."

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
----------------------

  1. Login to Unifier
  2. Navigate to: Company Workspace Admin mode > Configuration > Custom Templates
  3. Try to publish the report and notice the following error is thrown through the Unifier UI:

"The system could not process your request. Logging in again may help in some cases. Contact your System Administrator if you are still having problems."

Note the following that is captured to the Unifier.log files:

unifier:/sys/bip/report/publish_internal throws an exception at file:///sys/bip/action.xml:604: ~
file:///sys/bip/action.xml:604: Could not invoke method startsWith.
at com.skire.webant.taskdefs.MethodInvokeTask.execute(MethodInvokeTask.java:187)
at com.skire.webant.WebTask.perform(WebTask.java:93)

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

The custom reports should be published successfully.
