"My Accounts" Ootb Search Is Not Working

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

Sales user who is owner of record cannot see the record in My Account

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Owner of record should able to see the record in My Account list

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1.Navigate to Account
2. check My account list no records are displayed

BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot see his accounts.
