Find Search Box Drilldown Causes Issue On Pressing ESC

If user uses the records appears in Find Search box of any Entity to access the recently used records, once records gets opened, background screen records disappears and on pressing ESC none of the records are shown, user has to move away from the entity and navigate back to the same entity.
Generally this issue is across entities but for other entity like Account, after few seconds OSC shows the list of records, for Leads and Opportunity it doesn't work in that way, it just keep showing blank page.
