Project Status Notification Approval Task

Our client has the business requirement that for the approvals we want to use the HCM supervisory hierarchy for project status workflows. We are able to get it to work for routing based on the project manager. However, we need to be able to route it based on a different project team member who has a project role of Financial Analyst, see screen shots. It would be routed to their Line Manager. It states that you are allowed to create expressions for the reference user. I cannot figure out how to build an expression for the reference user to be the project team member who has the role name "Financial Analyst".

Is it possible to use a sql: select ProjectTeamMember.teamMemberUserName where ProjectTeamMember.teamMemberRoleName = "Financial Analyst"
