Symptoms

Running an External Configurator Rest call results in 500 Internal Error and returns the following error in the body of the response:

{

"title": "An unknown error (class java.lang.NullPointerException) has occurred. Please contact your system administrator.\nTo help us track this error, please note the date and time in your report: 2018-02-23 15:19:03.\nAn unknown error (class java.lang.NullPointerException) has occurred. Additional attempts to run the API will add additional NullPointerException messages to the error.

If a bsId is included in the request, the model will be added to the given quote, showing that the service does work, but does not return a proper response.
