Issue with Recalculate Payroll for Retroactive Changes Process

After running Recalculate Payroll for Retroactive process for Feb'18, system is creating incorrect absence entries.

Recalculate Payroll for Retroactive Changes Process should not generate incorrect absence entries.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. loaded some back dated sick leave entries for month of Jan'18 in Feb'18;
(according to our sick leave plan configuration system should not deduct for first 15 days in calendar year)
2. observed many retro sick leave entries which resulted in deduction of salary.

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot make February 2018 salary payments, no work around at hand.
