User Receives Error "Invalid Username Please contact your System Administrator for further assistance" After Administrator Resets Password

Symptoms

In environment 15.2 or higher users attempting to login after an administrator uses OIM to reset the users password, the user receives the following error

ERROR

Error message is displayed "Invalid Username", Please contact your System Administrator for further assistance

STEPS

  1. After password has been changed
  2. Attempt to log in will be prompted to change your password
  3. Error message displays
