Can OIC-C Use Standard Edition (SE) Database With The Integration Feature Set? (Doc ID 2365876.1)

Last updated on JUNE 13, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Integration Classic - Version 17.4.1 to 17.4.1
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

This knowledge article reflects updated product names. Oracle Integration Classic (OIC-C) was formerly known as Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC). Please see KM for the full list of recently renamed PaaS services.

OIC-C is installed with the Integration feature set.

The install doc (https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/paas/integration-cloud/integration-cloud-user/prerequisites-provisioning-oracle-integration-cloud.html) states in the prerequisites table "All Oracle Database Cloud Service configurations are possible."

It then says -
The recommended minimum values for creating service instances that include Integrations, Processes, and Integration Analytics are as follows:
• Managed servers: Two (for high availability)
• Enterprise Edition Database (EE)

When configuring only one instance, can the Standard Edition (SE) database be used for the repository, and will this remain supported and certified?
