Contacts: Uploads and Entries with Leading Zero Values Are Truncated (Doc ID 2367593.1)

Last updated on APRIL 18, 2018

Applies to:

Oracle Eloqua Marketing Cloud Service - Version 9 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

When a field value has one or more leading zeros, the zeros are truncated when the file is uploaded into Eloqua. The same thing happens when the value is manually entered.

For example, the upload file's ABC field contains a value of "000123". However, when it is uploaded, Eloqua shows it as "123" - stripping out the zeros from the start of the number.
