Import SSL Certificate Into Fusion Applications Trust Keystore To Be Self-Service For Cloud Customers
(Doc ID 2369771.1)
Last updated on SEPTEMBER 14, 2023
Applies to:
Oracle Fusion Sourcing Cloud Service - Version 11.12.1.0.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
After Oracle procedures have been changed, the operation of importing digital certificates into Fusion Applications java trust keystore (commonly found in /u01/APPLTOP/instance/keystores/fusion_trust.jks) is not allowed because it is a manual operation that must be done after every application update.
When these certificates are not imported, users can not do outbound calls from FA to external web services (PAAS or SPS). Some of the PAAS/SPS hosted servers are configured with certificates issued by authorities (CAs) that are not included in fusion_trust.jks. Using HTTPS protocol is mandatory for FA integration capabilities.
