Item Name Entered when Clicking Save As Doesn't Reflect after Creation

When use the Save As functionality, the name is not in sync with the input. The expectation when using the "Save As" functionality, the item name should not be auto generated. It should be same as the input from Save As.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
Step 1: Search a random item and open it
Step 2: When the item is in the Edit mode, Click on “Actions” menu and select “Save As” criteria
Step 3: A new popup will be open, fill in other Name and Description. Click on Save and Close
Step 4: It displays a different value at field “Name” and in the new tab opened. The item is named as the input, but the name from edit page is a number autogenerated
