FinOutbound Custom ESS Job Is Successful Inspite Of Invalid Report Name

FinOutbound Custom ESS Job is invoked via exportBulkData webservice operation, but the job is successful inspite of junk Report Name and in the logs the exception that the ReportName is unavailable is visible.
We expect the job to be in error , when the Report is invalid
Attached is the ESS_JobLog : 90286.log. All that is shown is an error in the log file, The service call does not seem to report an error in this situation.
Please look into this issue and let us know of the resolution.
Note : this is a repeat of SR 3-15786465871, which was closed due to inactivity. The customer has decided to revisit, and the old SR is too old to reopen.
