Symptoms

Email Escalation Approval Sent to wrong person.
Escalation email sent to the old manager, not to the current manager. Below is the scenario:

1. Level 1 Manager had recently a Manager change.

2. Employee apply for an absence

3. Manager is receiving the notification but is not taking any action, and the Escalation task is coming into picture.

4. The current Level 2 Manager is not receiving the Escalation Notification, but the old Level 2 Manager
