OCC : Failed to upload private image from Cloud Portal UI because system persists to say that the password entered is incorrect

When you sign in to the Compute Classic console, click the Images tab and then Upload Image, a popup window requires the IDCS password for the logged-in user.
However, the system continues to say that the password is incorrect even if you know this password is valid. See following error picture.
