Last updated on SEPTEMBER 25, 2018

Applies to:

Oracle Database Cloud Exadata Service
Oracle Database Cloud Service
Oracle Database Exadata Cloud Machine
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Services based on Oracle Database releases in the Oracle Public Cloud will generally track the desupport dates of the same releases on-premises. In addition to desupport dates, one also needs to know the dates after which a particular Database version cannot be provisioned in an Oracle Cloud instance.  Use the table below to plan your implementations and upgrades accordingly. Once a release is not supported, no more patches (including security patches) will be generated for it.

This document is for database administrators and other staff who need to plan Database upgrades and implementations, or software vendors who must plan on availability of particular Database releases in the Oracle Cloud.
