Removing / Updating a Contact Displays Error (Resources)

After creating a contact on a classroom, the contact is populated. when you attempt to remove clicking on the X and clicking save, an error is displayed. Test classroom - HRIS Test.

The error message box contains nothing but the number "1".

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login to Application
2. Click on Manage Catalog Resources
3. Click on Offering Resources tab
4. Search for HRIS Test
5. Click on Edit Link
6. Remove Resource – Click on the X
7. Click on Save
