Bell Icon Notification Not Received When Task/Appointment Created From Outlook

Bell Icon Notification not received when Task/Appointment created from Outlook
When a task / appointment is created from Outlook, and 'Sync All Changes' completes successfully, the notification is not received on the bell icon in the SUI.
The tasks/appointments are observed in the SUI when navigating to the calendar. The only issue is that the bell notification is not received.
We have enabled the notifications from the 'Sales Calendar and Appointment' Preferences.
