How to Delete Associated Project Row from Contract Line

We are receiving exceptions on the generate revenue detail output report every time revenue is generated because we have inactive associated projects for lines which are still generating revenue. However, there any way to remove a row from the associated projects table once the contract is set up, so these errors are piling up with contract line associated project adjustments that are being made. Is this expected? Is there a way to remove these rows if they are inactive or modify the report to omit these as exceptions?
