Symptoms

When try to post a journal in FCCS get an error

"An unknown error has occurred. Message: The member @ANCESTORS('MemberName Alias (XXXXXX)') does not exist for the specified cube or you do not have access to it."

NOTE: The names inside the parentheses represent the specific member name and alias of one particular member selected for the journal.

The error only appears for certain members. However, with other members for the impacted dimension, the system allows the journal to be posted. The referenced member is confirmed to exist in the application.

Changes

Some metadata changes have recently been applied; one or more members may have been added or removed or had their properties modified.
