Generating correct accounting entries for expenditure items when accounting period has been closed (Doc ID 2379009.1)

On : 11.12.1.0.0 version, Other Issues

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------

Regarding period close process, Business have costed the accounting entries (DRAFT) in March 2018. But the transactions belonged to the items created in the month of Feb -2018.
Because of the draft cost accounting entries (create accounting in draft). Revenue is also getting accounted (draft) in March.


EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
User wanted to post to all the transactions in February.


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Create expenditure items dated February 2018.
2. Close the accounting period for February 2018.
3. Create accounting in draft mode for the above expenditure items.
4. Note that the transaction date is March 2018.


BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, revenue for expenditure items created in February 2018 is also getting accounted in March 2018.
